I'll be honest, what drew my attention to this new project and their debut EP was mainly the curiosity of hearing what Humanity's Last Breath mastermind and Vildhjarta drummer/producer Buster Odeholm would come up with when letting off some steam in a hardcore band.
Unsurprisingly, the punches thrown (big funny) land hard and steady, making "Extended Pain" quite the bludgeoning experience despite its short eleven minutes.
There isn't much novelty to their style of beatdown but it is very well executed and produced, delivering every main trope you would expect from the genre with a firm hand.
If you're looking for some new hardcore to get the heart pumping but you don't necessarily have the time to sit through a full album, this one's for you!
