Although a challenging listen, which could have perhaps benefitted from slimming down some of its contents; "93696" lives up to the "transcendental black metal" term used to describe Liturgy's music as it combines stylistical elements from past releases into one big avant-garde epic that seeks out the spiritual nature of the afterlife through musical experimentation.
