Given the various lockdowns and the live sector of the music industry staying entirely dormant for most of the year and the year before; 2021 was absolutely stacked with new album releases.
Many more could have been included in this post but when I look at albums that could've made their way into my personal top 10 of the year, these are those who mainly came to mind, in no particular order :
