"Puff Pieces" is an unrelenting, dizzyingly chaotic slab of dissonant mathcore that is sure to turn heads within the scene and rapidly carve out a name for the Baltimore newcomers of Under the Pier.
Both nostalgic of mathcore's early days and refreshingly cutting-edge, this LP packs an unforgiving punch that will leave you wanting for more (the jolting breakdown of the album's single, "Four Sided Triangle" has to be one of my favourites of the year), I seriously cannot recommend this album enough to any extreme music aficionados, go check these guys out.
