KARTOSOEWIRJO? is an Indonesian guitar-driven mathcore project that heavily leans into the extremely frantic tropes of the genre with its whiplash-inducing tempo changes and crazy "noodly" guitar riffs.
This EP is extremely short with five tracks clocking in to a total of 4.45 minutes, however despite being so short, I thought the tracks on here were quite memorable and that this project has some pretty good potential so I would really like to hear some lengthier material from KARTOSOEWIRJO? in the future.
It's also really cool to hear a more international take on an extremely American-centric subgenre of extreme music!
Definitely worth a listen.
