I had never really been able to enjoy the appeal of Thou up until now but the clashing of their gritty doom and sludge sound with Emma Ruth Rundle's forlorn yet dreamy vocals works wonders and makes for a compelling listen.
Definitely an interesting collaboration that perfectly suited the mood of autumn transitioning into the cold and gloomy winter days.
